We post the ride location on the Fatbike Sudbury Facebook group. The default location is Walden.
We will cancel the ride if the riding conditions are poor. Check the Fatbike Sudbury Facebook group to confirm the ride is on.

Group Ride Leader Tips
Get to know each other, introduce yourselves
Ride leader to identify a sweep (The sweep’s job is to make sure absolutely NO RIDER gets behind)
Discuss Route, and approximate length of the ride
The leader should always make stops at regular intervals to allow for regrouping.
Don’t loose the rider behind you
Adjust pace based on slowest rider, if you are constantly waiting for everyone to catch up at intersections the leader needs to SLOW DOWN
Share cell phone numbers (Ride leader and Sweep)
If you get lost wait at the last intersection, the ride leader or sweep will backtrack to find you. (two moving objects can never find each other)
If a rider or two really want to bail, tell them to let the leader or sweep know, and make sure that they understand how to get back to the trailhead.
Keep it FUN!!
