Trail Conditions
At Nickeldale and Walden Trails, all trails are open for riding. If we had significant rain, wait 4-6 hours for the trails to dry out before you go riding.
July has been a busy month for the Trail Gnomes. Three new trail have been opened - Gonzo, the new climb trail Duble Up. and, Okie Dokie. Check them out on your next ride. The are on Trailforks and our online paper map.
Weekly Group Rides underway. Join in on our Women’s Mondays Ride, Tuesday Nite Rides, and Girl’s Tweens and Teens Group Ride.
Thank you to the 503 people who have bought a membership. For those that haven’t, the Walden Trails are calling your name. You can buy your 2026 WMBC membership online for the spring/summer/fall riding season.

Our fourth summer Social Ride is on Tuesday, Aug 18. It is at Kivi Park and a post-ride Social will be held at the Picnic Shelter.
Not many things in life are free. Greater Sudbury Police Services is promoting the free bike registry 529 Garage. Registration with 529 Garage is free. You can buy ID stickers for your bike online if you want. If your bike is stolen you report it and can buy an additional service, called 529 Detective, to do research and accelerate its recovery.
We have 4 different Club Jerseys available for purchase. Order yours online and it will be shipped to your house.
Who doesn’t need a new pair of biking socks?? Get a pair of WMBC Socks! You can order socks when you buy your 2026 WMBC Membership.
You can also fill out this form online, and seal the deal by e-transferring $20 to Lisanne Gauld using the email address indicated on the form. One pair per order.
