CALLING ALL VOLUNTEERS!!!! The Walden Mountain Bike Club needs you!!!! We are hosting the Ontario Cup Mountain Bike event at the Naughton Trails. We need volunteer help to assist Chico Racing in running the event. Volunteers are needed for course marshals, timing assistants, parking/venue access, pre-ride fee collection, venue cleanliness, course set up and tear down. This is a great event and a totally awesome spectacle to be part of. We are hoping to fill the volunteer spots with as many WMBC members as possible. Our own Wolfpak Racing Team will be competing in this event. This is a good economic opportunity for the club and all members will benefit from the funds that are earned.

Those who are interested should send reply by email to thesaints949 at gmail.com or contact Rob St. Marseille at (705) 665-2089.

Please stay off Willbreaker and Pacemaker trails for the time being---the ski trails on the eastern loop are still very soft. Let that area dry up--you can get back to the chalet by using Brownie Points instead. All of the other trails are dry and in good shape. Repairs have been made to the transition from Roller Coaster to Switchback--enjoy!!!! We are working on a very cool new trail--so stay tuned!!!!

Just a reminder to those who are using the Naughton trails--you must do your part to keep the trails clean. If you get a flat, leaving your tube in the bush in not acceptable. Whatever you bring out on the trails must come back and be put in the garbage. There has also been some litter like candy bar wrappers, chip bags etc left in the parking lot. We have several garbage cans onsite---please use them.
